Meet Dr. Sampson

Dr. Rick Sampson was born and educated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sampson responded to God's salvation call to Jesus Christ, in 1975. From the beginning of his walk, he had served the body of Christ with faith and diligence, working in a variety of Christian ministries. After an extensive education from several schools of Biblical instruction, Dr. Sampson brings a genuine concern for the spiritual growth and development of God's people to learn and apply the word of God to their lives on a daily basis and in a practical manner. Discipleship, Evangelism, and Healing have always been the nucleus of his ministry and remains the central focus today and manifested through apostle Paul's vision statement in Ephesians 4:11-12 "and he gave some apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ".

This unique commission is especially directed towards physical and spiritual healthcare, seeing the sick and afflicted healed by the power and will of God. Dr. Sampson is the president and founder of Sanctification Deliverance Health and Healing Ministries, which is a Biblical Healthcare Ministry that he created in 1991. He is a graduate of Jameson Christian College, the Christian Research and Development Institute, Philadelphia Community College, Main Line Paralegal Institute, the American Military University and Global Bible Institute where he received his doctorate in Christian Education. Dr. Sampson also studied at Thomas Edison State College and the Center for Urban Theological Studies. In 2014 Dr. Sampson created the Voice of Healing radio broadcast in which he talks about the ministry of Biblical Healthcare on radio station WNJC 1360am. In 2015 he published his first book called "The Book of Healing Sermon Series Volume-1, a chronology of the physical healings of Jesus in the 4-gospels, in which he compares neurological, psychological and physical disabilities of biblical times to present day disabilities and how people with these illnesses are healed miraculously by God or by modern medicine, in order to show that God is still actively healing the sick today. He also received the 2015 Broadcasters award for his work on the Voice of Healing. He wrote "The Book of Healing Vol.2 in 2017 which covers healing in the book of Acts to the 21th century. In 2019 Dr. Sampson was the host of a new show called "The Dr. is IN" radio broadcast on spiritualconnectradio.com.
